They are harleys, nothing affordable about it. I own an iron head and a GSXR race bike. Just rebuilding the iron head alone was more of a headache and expensive than my GSXR, and it’s still four times as unreliable and slow.

I think you're looking at regular Sportster numbers. The XR1200 makes 90hp.

I own a Orange Xr1200 they feel to be more than 64 hp. Even though the 90 hp is at the crank you wouldn’t expect to lose that much at the rear wheel.

I dont care what anyone says if it wasnt for the Wyman brothers and their rival Tyler O'hare you would not have a show ..these guys are still making it happen in the king of the baggers ..with all the knowledge experience and road race seasoning ..they could road race the Captain America Pan Head Chopper from the 1969 movie eazyriders and make it look good

Speaking of that movie dang that would have been the STUPIDEST choice of motorcycles to tour cross country on! Can you imagine even trying it? Just the fact it would have been impossible in some sections without a support vehicle carrying extra fuel! lol Peanut tanks might look bitchen but obviously the range is too pathetically short....besides that those were some dangerous and uncomfortable rides! Suspension brakes and something close to proper frame geometry is sort of way more important than the chopped look....Function must dictate form/beauty ....if it wont work for the job? A machine becomes quite homely IMHO

Go look into the daytona 200 throughout the 80s and 90s. The only harleys that won were the ones that didnt break down. Harley has to be on its own track with its own brand.
