My father passed away in May of 2022. The morning I got the news I drove to his house a little after 6am in the morning. It was an absolutely beautiful day out. I got in the car to drive there and this song came on the radio. It was the first time I ever heard it. It hit me so hard. This will forever be the song I use to remember him. I play it anytime I wanna feel closer to him. I don't know if anyone will ever read this but I just wanted to share ❤

I never comment on anything, and honestly I never really liked Vance Joy, but he was my ex's favorite artist. Never cared about someone the way I cared about her, went through the lowest point of my life after that situation. For whatever reason I saw this pop up on my feed and I decided to listen to it, it just brought back all the best memories I had of her because I know she would have loved this song, and surprisingly I genuinely like the song too.
