Finally we're back to more hardware modifications on my B9 S4! Now that I've upgraded my software from Stage 1 - 91 to 93 to E40 and now to E85, it's time we get back to changing up the hardware again. Not only am I hoping for a slight performance gain with this modification, we are using it for an analog boost tap as well. Lastly, we finally got around to painting my crash bar now that we removed my bumper again! It looks amazing!

@@eduardovillalon7496 because I upgrade one part at a time to prove how well or how poorly every part works. That way I'm not just slapping a bunch of parts on the car and I don't know what part did what.

@@joesforspeed for now, no. We only upgraded this part for the boost tap. Any gain in performance is considered a bonus.

That would have defeated the purpose of doing a step by step build then. I wouldn't have been able to prove the performance gains of the intercooler alone if I would have installed them together.

@@bagelbandit6076 there's no going back. When I install my intercooler I'll be testing my IAT's prior to installation. Then on the exact same day, with the same fuel, on the same tune, in the same conditions, I'll be testing my IAT's again after the install.

I was wondering why the CTS charge pipe was only for the left side. But for other intake companies, the charge pipe is both sides. I am looking to pull the trigger on the CTS intercooler and pipe, but before doing so, wondering if there was a purpose to them only doing one side?

As I mentioned in the video, I really only did it because it gave me a boost tap spot for my analog boost sensor. If you want to maximize the flow, then the charge pipes from IE would be your best bet.

@EGYPT!AN PR!NC3 first off, it's my daily. I didn't want it to be super loud. Secondly on a stock turbo, there are no power gains to be had with a downpipe upgrade, only torque. So catless or catted wouldn't change the performance. Now that I'm running a hybrid turbo though there might be. Not sure honestly.

Use wrap bro your crash bumper will get stone chips and in 8 months you have to do it all again …

Agreed! Mine looked like shit after just 2 months of rock chips.. Wrap works 1000 times better. Smarter to do it right the 1st time...now u gota remove the bumper all over again & re-install it, to do the wrap.
