To make sure here...I'm not busting Brian's balls with my other comments which may be taken that way - this is an amazing accomplishment here and the amount of practice and time it takes to get these times is well beyond what most folks that casually do a few pulls on the road/local track and read this stuff understand. It's not just floor it and release the brake and go and you get these times...it's in the details. He has the quickest 1/4 mile IS38 AT on the books hands down at this point and this is likely the quickest AT period at this point until someone else steps up and does the work and drops their times publicly. His 60' times are crazy and I believe that's on street tires so more time to be had with drag radials, burn out boxes, etc.

Nice work. These IS38 swapped Alltracks are a blast. I should know. I am working with Stratified Tuning to finish a pump fuel tune using the Golf R HPFP and vacuum housing and lots of supporting bits, then it is on to a an E30 tune to see what other fueling needs will be applied (MPI vs R injectors). No plans to lower the car as I like to blast up to trail heads so y'all enjoy the drag strip. Keep up the good work! Adam: love your content, never stop producing, please!

Not sure how mode specific you want to get, but the “Chuckwagon” Golf Sportwagen did 11.44, but if you want to split hairs, it’s not an Alltrack.

I let him borrow my Hoosier DR2's. I showed him how to stage the car more effectively. I explained how to get more heat in the tires. I instructed him on when to left off the gas to launch his car. But in the end, Brian was the one that got it done!

After digging and digging on the internet, no one has shared a quicker time. Fairly easy way to determine that. Yes, there could be some person that has managed quicker that has decided to not share their times with anyone, but that rarely is the case.

@@VancityAudi 380bhp on the wheels is not that much to be fair. There are good chances that there is a quicker alltrack out there as the engine can take more then that. I say that the title you choose is just to get views. A sort of clickbait title. Far from the worst clickbait I might add, but still.

It also has absolutely nothing to do with the horsepower figures when running a stock block. It's the torque. 377lb/ft at the wheels on a tiny 1.8L 4 cylinder with all stock internals is a lot.
