We got to start Pickard in game 4, we cannot have a repeat of last year, thinking Stu will get hot, give up goals, and have to have Campbell come in. This is not viable anymore. I mean look at our team, and then look at the Rangers or Panthers, we’d get swept 😭

Long post follows. Read / Don't Read up to you. Statistics for Round 2 Playoff Game 3 Vancouver at Edmonton May 12th, 2025. These are "Base" statistics and are simply a foundation for reference. Edmonton Oilers Ekholm 1 Goal (PP), 1 Primary Assist Draisaitl 1 Goal (PP), 1 Secondary Assist Bouchard 1 Goal, 1 Secondary Assist (PP) Nuge 1 Primary Assist (PP) Kane 1 Primary Assist (PP) Nurse 1 Secondary Assist (PP) Skinner 11 Saves on 15 Shots = .733 Save %age (very bad), pulled after 40 minutes Pickard 3 Saves on 3 Shots = 1.000 Save %age (11:25 played) Vancouver Canucks Lindholm 2 Goals (PP) Boeser 2 Goals. 1 Primary Assist (PP) Miller 2 Primary Assists (1 on PP) Hughes 2 Secondary Assist (Both on PP) Myers 1 Secondary Assist Suter 1 Primary Assist Silovs 42 Saves on 45 Shots = .933 Save %age 3 Stars: Draisaitl (1G, 1A), Silovs (.933 Save %age), Boeser (2G, 1A) Vancouver Edmonton Shots on Goal 18 45 Hits 50 30 Faceoffs Won 38 28 PP 2/3 2/4 Giveaways 5(4 per NST) 15 (12 per NST) Takeaways 8 6 (3 per NST) Blocked Shots 23 (17 per NST) 6 (5 per NST) Player TOI SOG +/- PIM Hits Blocks Giveaways Takeaways Bouchard 31:24 6 0 0 1 0 0 0 Ekholm 23:46 4 0 2 1 0 0 0 Nurse 18:03 4 -1 2 3 1 1 0 Ceci 15:59 2 -1 0 0 0 0 1 Kulak 13:30 2 0 0 3 2 1 0 Desharnais 10:45 1 0 0 0 2 1 0 McDavid 29:42 4 0 0 3 0 0 0 Draisaitl 29:04 5 0 2 0 0 1 2 Hyman 26:12 8 0 0 3 0 0 0 Nuge 22:32 1 0 0 2 0 0 0 Kane 14:13 1 -1 0 4 0 1 0 Holloway 11:25 1 0 0 4 0 1 0 McLeod 11:06 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 Perry 9:45 1 0 0 1 0 0 0 Foegele 8:45 3 -1 0 2 1 2 0 Brown 8:02 0 0 0 1 0 1 0 Ryan 7:33 1 0 0 0 0 3 0 Janmark 6:18 1 0 0 2 0 0 0 Oilers Faceoffs Won Lost Percent Draisaitl 10 9 52.6 McDavid 6 9 40.0 Ryan 4 5 44.4 Nuge 4 10 28.6 McLeod 4 3 57.1 Kane 0 2 0.00 Canucks Faceoffs Won Lost Percent Miller 14 8 63.6 Lindholm 14 14 50.0 Blueger 6 2 75.0 Pettersson 2 2 50.0 Mikheyev 2 0 100.0 Lafferty 0 2 0.00 Looking at the stats the better team won. Vancouver blocked 17 more shots than Edmonton (who only blocked 6 (5 per NST)), they were better in the faceoff circle, they hit more, percent wise they did better on the PP and PK (again percent wise). Skinner got pulled (he NEEDS a game off, sorry but he's not geared to play this many games in a row, we've seen it before, his concentration seems to slide). McDavid kept OFF of the scoresheet. McLeod AND Brown not registering a shot. Guys, you gotta block shots. You have to keep them to the outside. You have to let the goalie see them. You really need to find realisitic opportunities. I can't see Perry playing the next game. Same deal with some of the others. Need Henrique back but injured. Find a black ace who works (and if anyone says Sam Gagner...). Folks time for some plug and play. Take care all.

No question, Silovs was the best goaltender last night!! The 6 could happen, I would love to see it go 7 though!

If they play like that tuesday they will loae again. Mcdavid and draisaitl 29 minutes of ice time. They wull be skating on their knees by game 6. Cant happen.

Nucks fan here. The Oilers are crazy scary to play against. I’m guessing Oilers in 6 or 7 the way this has gone. We can’t expect to win games when outshot by almost 3-fold.

That’s what I’m thinking, unless Shilov’s can play like that for the rest of the series!! He scares me, as an Oilers fan!

I clicked off before I saw the cross check, no way that isn’t intent to injure from both Canucks, but this league doesn’t enforce anything actually to do with safety

McDavid and others should know by now that their actions have consequences.
