Vancouver Island | How to get to Mystic Beach

In the 80's it was harder to get to; not much of a trail, and only a rope to rappel down the cliff to the beach. That made it much less crowded, and it was a clothing optional beach at that time too.

Sad to hear they removed the rope swing. Really enjoyed that over the years, but I knew it was only a matter of time before it was taken down. Would love to see videos on Botanical and Sombrio too. Always love your stuff!

There are black bears around there but the chances you see them are low. Even if you do , they are not dangerous unless you are running over to them. Usually they will just look at you and continue to eat their berries.
