I love how this girl is just walking down a normal road (something others would never even think would be daunting) but what she sees is a huge canyon and river. She feels like she has to walk a very careful line because she’s scared of it and what could happen. As someone who has had major anxiety over things people just don’t understand I absolutely love this video. I have no idea if this is what it’s meant to represent. That’s just what I see.

I remember the first time I listened to Vancouver Sleep Clinic, it was over a year ago now and I always hoped others would find them. Their music is so intimiate, whenever I listen to their songs I find myself visualising some sort of scenraio in my mind either of memories, a hopeful reality or how one of their music videos would look. They have managed to capture such a wonderful video with such great etheral beauty and they potrayed that visual the whole way through. Their music alleviates me into a new dimension consumed by solace and warmth from the second I listen to their songs I feel like things deep within me even speak to me. They engulf me in such a pretrenatural state that I become silently infatuated with the beauty their music manages to possess. Everything is colourful and wonderfully tranquil. I adore this band, they are hugely wonderful, their music is an art form. They are such a solace-indulging band. Thank God Vancouver Sleep Clinic exists.

I've been in a relationship for 12 years with somebody I am not in love with. Every day I dream of being with someone who treats me well and loves me. I feel so alone and lonely even with somebody around me all the time. It's sad. It's killed my self esteem and will to even live. This toxic abusive relationship is killing me and I can't get out of it unless I just want to go be homeless, which sounds better sometimes than being with someone who doesn't understand who I am as a human being.

2016 My ex and I had broken up twice before she called me back again, I was constantly listening to VSC in those days. One day she called me up and we went for a walk. I played this song in the hope that she would understand how heavy it has been for me. She just didn’t pay any heed to it and played Nawazeishein Karam, over it, I had to pause VSC and listen to that. Years later, in hindsight, now I understand that she was actually grieving her relationship with this guy she dated before me and they had a fight on that very same day. Honestly I wasted a lot of good music on her 🙂
