blown away! great performance! Although Aurora is from Norway, I've always thought this song has North American indigenous roots as does her song "the seed". It's great to hear this from the Vancouver youth choir. ❤😊

the chorus of the seed is adapted from remarks made by Alanis Obomsawin, an Abenaki from the Odonak reserve outside so-called Montreal. his remarks were used by Greenpeace in their agitprop, and Aurora played it for Greenpeace's Action All Areas festival in 2020.
