Many are not trying to understand that most of the Indian trains having designs of old British Indian railway trains . Why can't we consider that Vande barath is the beginning of a change. Regarding the material - the recent tenders floated by the Indian railways for these trainsets have considered aluminium as the material of choice instead of stainless steel. It is presumed that aluminium coaches may reduce the weight of the coaches and save propulsion energy.

I traveled in Italy Milan to Rome the fastest one and first class the executive class they just give me one sandwich and drinks it’s included non alcoholic and alcohol drinks for 3 hours. Even in America airlines I traveled in business class from Miami to Washington DC they also only give one sandwich.but In India we get more food and beverages.

With due respect to Mrinal, don’t engage in mud slinging. Like SGK mentioned, this is a great start and speed will improve as the track straightens and once they move to automatic signalling. We need to start somewhere and in the current state, our railways were pretty much at the same state as Britishers left off. Modernisation is a welcome change and is long due. Our apartment is right next to the Hyderabad line in Bangalore. Though we have a playing ground and two boundary walls separating the apartment block from the line, even on the 14th floor the sound is unbearable. I have to go on mute when a train pass. Trolling a modern train for quality of food is almost like missing the point. See the positives and spread positivity instead on building walls and spreading negativity. Get back to your usual self and distance yourself from this rubbish, please 🙏

The food in Indian Railways are purely North Indian style majority....even though it travels through Kerala !...but Majority of the train serves in north Indian style only!! Once in netravati i got kuruva rice n some better quality curry...except that i had a worse experience in Indian Railways pantry... Even the foods sold in station (those sellers from outside) provides better (eg.CB from Warangal station). Half boiled rice is north Indian Rice cooking style...thats being served in Major trains! N low quality gravy too. Food in this videos are quite good quality...as they are premier class trains... For other trains the standard of food is Even low... Pathetic.! Even the suppliers donno how to handle the food trays neat n hygiene...i saw recently (Kerala exp.) those food trays which are using to keep food to sell the passengers are being stored near washrooms n in unhygienic areas...
