So simple yet so good!!! Imagine being one of the folks in the video and seeing yourself and your friends after all these years...how cool is that?! Most of the people there are probably married/divorced and with kids, some might have grandkids already, some of them are probably gone by now...a lot happens in 30 plus years and I often find these little "time-machine" moments overwhelming... I love the fact they've chosen footage from regular people dancing in clubs like so many other tapes around the world in such a way that is totally relatable for almost anyone...and the music is awesome as always! There are plenty around the world... Chances are, if you're close enough to a big city, you're close enough to one! Although this kind of vibe is not exactly mainstream nowadays, there are HUGE cultural niches around there and they're going through a revival for the past decade or so. Try to search for some more alternative/dark/goth/indie/industrial social groups in your area, they'll be more than happy to share a suggestion or two...I guess what I'm trying to say is: You're not alone! 😉
