Holding brake is nothing but EP brake, i.e it will also be done by DCL loop. Demand of 'J' point pressure only there is predefined which does not comes from master controller.

Leakage from where ?? Continuous air discharge from MPV bottom is not leakage.

Does railway use failsafe braking? That means, if the compressed air does not have enough pressure, the train will not release brake?

Yes, railway uses failsafe approach. Parking brakes cannot be released when pressure is insufficient.

hi you said pressure from the brake reservoir enters B02 through port number 26 and gets divided into two for isolating cocks B04/1 and B04/2. but in the diagram, it is not so. air from BR enters through port numbers 26 and 17 for isolating cocks. please check

Do you have port number 17 on your actual B02 box ? Actually the diagrams we all have is from 2018. Alot is different from that diagram.

Sir, Is it possible to do the shunting of VB Rake by connecting only BP hosepipe with Loco? During this single pipe (only BP) connection, will the AR Tank( 75 Ltrs) charge through STV200 and PRV(4.1 kg/ cm2) ? Here Master Key is not ON. Please reply sir

NO. AR tank will not be charged and thus we won't have any air to be fed to brake cylinders even on dropping BP.

अनुराग जी यदि हम B02 के दोनो बोगी के isolating cock को बंद कर देते हैं तो बोगी में ब्रेक लगेंगे या नहीं या सिर्फ इमरजेंसी ब्रेक ही लगेंगे या कोई भी ब्रेक नही लगेंगे pls clear kar dijiye

वो EP brakes की isolating cock है। दोनो कॉक बंद करने से R1, R2 की line बंद हो जाएगी । यानी DCL & emergency, कोई भी ब्रैकिंग नहीं कर पाएंगे । लेकिन , BP reduce करने से brake लगेंगे । क्योंकि उसकी सप्लाई चल रही है ।
