Vande Bharat Sleeper Coaches to Launch in 3 Months, Announces Ashwini Vaishnaw

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced on September 1, 2024, that Vande Bharat Sleeper Coaches will begin passenger operations within three months. After inspecting the newly completed coaches at BEML in Bengaluru, Vaishnaw revealed that the sleeper version, designed for middle-class affordability, will be priced comparably to the Rajdhani Express. The coaches, featuring modern technology and enhanced safety measures, are the latest in the Vande Bharat series, following the successful rollout of the chair-car version. Vaishnaw highlighted that the new trains reflect India's aspirations under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. The manufacturing process was complex but has now been completed.

Luxury trains toh thik hai per Amrit bharat trains bhi chahiye. Crores of Migratory labourers travel daily without any seat in general coaches. Railways certainly have social responsibilities also. 🙁

Yr ye non AC coaches kab tak chalayenge? Desh 100 ka ho jayega tab bhi non AC trains chalengi. General class ko AC trains 21st century mai bhi saste mai provide nhi kar pa rhe. Amrit Bharat bhi kamse kam 20-30 chalengi tab tak duniya mai maglev common ho jayegibaur hum yha non AC coach chla rhe honge😢
