Hi could you do an updated video comparing the 25mm and 30mm rings and talk through your thoughts on each after using them both? Maybe compare the capacity…like how much more 30mm holds than 25. I can’t find videos like that anywhere.

Thank you, that’s going to be a lovely combo! The Buffalo leathers will be so rugged and never change. It will look brand new for years. The great news is customs we’re knocked down to 10 weeks. So it’s a great time to order before the holiday seasons start. I love pocket size too for my wallet and dailies combo.

You were so informative! Did you find that it laid flatter the more you used it? Have you heard of asking for the velvet sand to get thinned out?

Hi Samantha, thank you for watching. I have never heard of asking them to thin it more than they have. I’ve been using this planner as my home binder since it arrived. I’ve flipped it backwards on each side of the rings to help it lay flat and it does lay very flat now that I’ve been using it, even with the back pocket it lays very flat. I’m trying to break in my Moterm weeks to do the same.

Hi,I just got my custom vds today and I decided to go with the Janet leather fir my a5 managerial and did an all brow.(dark)and I also got a b6 custom with pink on the outside and light gray on the inside.questions for you are on the flyleaf do they come with pockets or is that an added charge?second can a personal size fit a b6 planner?thanks.im just a bit disappointed.

Hi Jennifer. Thanks for watching. The pockets on the flyleaf are an added cost. I opted out of that. Did you order the b6 in rings? Or did you order it to fit the stalogy notebook in a codex style? The b6 fits inserts that are 5x7 inches. The personal inserts are 3.75x6.75. FCC are 4.25x6.75 and Personal Wide are 4.75x6.75. If you’ve purchased the B6 in rings. Not only can you fit b6 paper inside. The best fitting of the personal sizes would be the personal wide. I hope that helps.

hi thank u for detailed information i have a question~ is it really ok not to widened? to put fcc and pen~ i really want to put fcc inserts there standard 25mm vanderspek but little worried or is it good to widened it?

Hello, that is correct. If you order the custom standard rings in 25mm you do not need to widen the planner at all if you enjoy the look of how my fcc inserts fit inside. It fits my pen just fine next to my inserts. However, if you want to widen your planner. I suggest not widening too much. I have my undyed 30mm I did widen to 32cm laid flat. If I had the decision to not widen. I would have not widened that simply because it feels so big in my hands. I hope that helps. Thank you for watching.

You can order the planner with the smaller backplate with the 30 mm rings. Yes very heavy! LOL
