Alright my English speakers I think I have crafted the perfect theory for this song! (Note: this song is obviously about suicide in imagery and lyrics) I will refer to the characters as followed: The guy from Neurosis: Nuro The guy from Operations: Steel The song starts off with Steel sitting in his room watching his phone presumably watching the news or watching a video about the news. His lines, "There's nothing I can do for the suicide jumper..." indicates that the news is about someone who has committed suicide. Instead of feeling sympathy for said victim he criticizes their actions for taking their life so easily. He gives his condolences only to hear about another victim soon after. At 1:22 it shows us a hospital room and why Steel feels the way he does: Steel is suffering from heart failure and his time is quickly running out. He soon dawns a mask (which not so coincidentally looks like a plague mask) and takes it upon himself to end their "miserable" lives. He then spots and sets his eyes on Nuro... We then switch to Nuro's perspective in the same diner from Neurosis (to those that haven't seen Neurosis originally I thought it was about Nuro's girlfriend cheating on him, when in actuality its as simple as having depression where everyday has no meaning not even a special day like a birthday) His hair has gone white from stress meaning that he never recovered from said events (while also being a clever way to not confuse him with Steel) and it is blatantly told to us that he has tried and failed to commit suicide multiple times. He laments about how there's nothing special about him compare to the other special people (his ex-girlfriends new boyfriend) and why he was even born in the first place. He then rants about how justices and life have unfairly treated him and then proceeds to the train station. (Though subtle, the perspective has changed back to Steel at 1:50) (Edit: I failed to mention this before but the video that Nuro is watching at 1:24 is a video of self-deprecating humor. He’s most likely watching this to cope with his depression but as we all know self-deprecating humor only makes you feel worse) At 3:12 it's shows that Nuro tried again to take his life but got cold feet and just waited for the next train. However, Steel shows up and bashed him on the head giving Nuro the "spotlight"(news outlets and the media) that he always wanted. Thinking he solved Nuro's situation he tries to leave, however, Nuro apparently lived as he quickly grabs Steels leg at 2:40 (it's a very quick shot). My guess is that Steel tells the "presumably dead" Nuro that he's dying of heart failure only form Nuro to hear and struck a deal with him: to have a heart transplant. Steel doesn't really want Nuro to die, as he has a young and healthy life ahead of him, but out of desperation accepts Nuro's offer. At 2:44 and 3:11 it shows that Steel did the surgery and survived. Steel then tells us the message of the song as he visits Nuro's grave at 3:17: "there's value in life by just being there than being a special somebody" because unlike Nuro who took advantage of his life Steel saw his worth. Well that took forever hope you guys are able to understand the story now if I missed anything I'd appreciate it if you also write it down 🎈

You’re Welcome ☺️ and the detail about Nuro comes from 1:23 where the lyrics state, “I slit my wrist at 11 P.M.” followed by “how much blood have I lost today...” that indicate that he’s suicidal. This isn’t really found in his song ‘Nurosis’ as there he just feels hurt by his ex-girlfrind and has just given up on love period. But this song (probably months after the breakup) really shows us that Nuro was deeply affected by this but was not willing to take his own life

I figured Sewing (縫口) tied into this somehow as well, what do you think? If only for the line at 3:06 about sewing up the others mouth; 縫口 has mention of the singers sewn up mouth, and the image for that looking somewhat like the two as well as containing the flower-head symbolism (and bouquets on the ground).
Hachiya’s instrumentals are always amazing but having tmsw on bass again is a POWER MOVE, this is another immediate bop 😌🙏 Also this seems like a sequel to Neurosis 👀
i love this!!! i'm so happy we got two new songs recently!! i'm assuming this is a sequel to neurosis because of the recurring character and imagery, i hope we can get a translation soon ;w;

Sakiyama, the illustrator of this movie, says that he is the protagonist of Neurosis who has become white hair.

@@amgr5831 is the guy who kills the guy with white hair another guy, or the guy from Neurosis just "kills" himself?
@amgr58314 жыл бұрын
I suppose he is another guy: The guy with black hair has heart disease and needs a donor. He is angry with the guy from Neurosis, who has became white hair due to stress and tries to kill himself. So he puts on a bird mask and kills the white haired person to transplant his heart. He also thinks that that'll be an answer to make the person's wish to die comes true.
