I am not happy with the direction they took visually, it just feels like every other champion riot makes it has to be a fresh-eyed bordering naive happy-go-lucky champ. However, the kit looks super duper fun, which is the most important part especially in a game where half the adc roster feels the exact same.

From a design perspective I really love how rito has recently been making more champs that are straight up feral animals/mythical creatures instead of anthropomorphized half human versions of them. I love the designs of this new champ and Naafiri. I just wish they gave Smolder a cuter dragonish face, it looks like they tried way too hard to make his face humanoid

I'm not sure why riot keeps releasing non traditional marksman (they literally said that's what they want to do and are doing) when the reason us all adc players like marksman is bc we like autoattack mechanics and everything associated with it. This is not the way to bring back popularity to adc. Not at all. Soloq impact is, whether other roles whine or not, and whether pro goes back to adc prio like it was before 2017.

Not really. I can easily see any marksman with a little mobility such as Tristana or Kai'sa could body them easy enough if they are ahead. It seems he's the markman version of Aurelion Sol if you think about it and will be really weak in the early game.

Yeah, the amount of AOE (and extra effects like execute) he has isn't healthy if his numbers are overtuned... AOE damage is a cheat code on marksmen, which is why Jinx late game with rocket launcher Q is one of the best late game ad carries you can have... Hitting the tank frontline and simoultanously destroying everything around him basically wins you any team fight.

@@PedroHenrique-gr4zr It's not just a dash. It's cross-terrain and with a speed increase. While still attacking. I guess it's closer to say that this is Urgot W with Talon E mixed with Kaisa E. Movespeed steroid, attacking at increased attackspeed and ignoring terrain. Putting that on an ADC is crazy. Zeri was the last one to have terrain-ignore and she was nerfed a million times.

Fiora isnt weak in the early game. She is supposed to be a duelist, Strong in one vs ones but lackluster in teamfights. Smolder is the exact opposite. Both are hyperscaling though i admit that.
