Honestly if riot wasn't already caught out for using ai before you could argue it's just quality control being terrible and an artists mistake, it's fairly common for it to happen just most of the time it's caught before being released.

Artists have drawn hands with 6 or 4 fingers by accident before AI and they will continue to do it (just now they'll get major accusations of AI usage when they do it). There's really no reason to not give them the benefit of the doubt when it's a common mistake and they gave us a draft of the emote.

I'll say it. Their game design peaked around 2016-2020. Give or take a few years in either direction. There are still some cool new things here and there, but the whole company was really hitting their stride right before covid. It really feels like the company lost some unreplaceable people after that and it shows. Characters used to have different sounds based on what type of material they were attacking. Champion kits and thematic elements were unique and not just "(insert race here) but a supermodel with superpowers" or the amazing "Totally not a disney character." Maybe I've got rose tinted glasses, but it just feels different. The old issues we used to have seem so trivial now compared to the new ones. It's not just "Riot pls" anymore, it's "Riot why".

All arcane did was alter viktor story and give jayce A story. The fans exagerated with "retcons" "ruining league" and even then with said retcons nothing has really changed drastically. At worst, only one detail was changed from 2 champions.

While I don't believe they died in the show. It would kind of weaken Heimerdinger's death and if this Arcane beeing canon now means Yordles can die, that would completely ruin Vex's Lore. There is alot more too it than it just changing 2 characters. Zeri should've appeared in the finale since she's a friend of Ekko's the same Age and they should've met by now. Same with zero mentions of Renata Glasc or the Ferros family. Riot is sending a precedent that the lore we fell in love can be turned completely on it's head, just because one CEO thought it would make more money. League's lorea already lacked integrity, but this is the final nail in the coffin.

i don't think there was a single positive thing about League this year besides Arcane S2 and even then.. Swarm mode is not league is Vampire Survivors.. There was already a Wiki now is just official and there's no way is going to be always updated.. Aurora is a poorly designed champ with weak fanservice, didn't even last 3 months before getting nerfed in the only ´´unique`` thing she does.. Ambessa is forgettable.. she will be banished to the KalistAzir Realm because of competitive.. Smolder is just sad.. Skarner/Viktor is not Skarner/Viktor anymore.. The whole chosen of the wolf skinline was poorly done.. Laid off employees, Forge cancelled.. I mean linking park coming back is REALLY cool.. but again, is not league.. 😂 I'm not even going to mention the gacha skins, Faker is Faker, he will always be a good thing about league but riot tried really hard to hurt and use his reputation for that cashgrab, that is sad.. I really can't think a single good thing, every change this year had some stupid downside

People wanted the mythic update to be REVERTED. But what did Riot too? They didn't revert the patch, they removed them and added trash to it.
