How do you determine each of the ball mill and drill sizes? I realize 1 ball mill will be for the diamond diameter,but what about the others?Thank You.

Start with a small cilinder bur (0,7mm or so) and than with a small round bur and go up 0.2mm each next time =)

Hi Akash, That's a hollow nail tip, you soaken it a bit in water to adhere the diamonds to your hollow tip.

If you set the 2.0mm pavé, what's the sequence? (Eg first drilling at 0.8mm, then drilling at 1.0mm ... then at 1.3mm ...) Would you explain how to drill holes in any size order?
@ruud4508
@ruud4508 7 жыл бұрын
hyun jun Jang drill with 1.0 mm carbide drill, then use ball shaped carbide burr 1.3 mm then 0.3 mm up till you reach desired size

In the video you see 1,3mm pavé diamonds. You just start around 0.7mm and work your way up skipping 0.2mm. So 0.7, 0.9, 1.1, 1.3. Good luck! =)

@@heinikendude what is the reason of working your way up in increments? Why not drill 2.0mm but straight away?
@heinikendude
@heinikendude 5 жыл бұрын
access Hi, because drilling 2mm straight away would not give me room to make tiny connections to make the diamonds match perfectly.
@JimBob1937
@JimBob1937 5 жыл бұрын
@@heinikendude, that makes sense. I assume if you were 100% perfect and equal with your spacing measurements with 100% perfect and equally sized stones, you may be able to go straight to the 2.0mm hole. However, from watching your technique, you work incrementally (what every jeweler seems to do), it likely gives you room to make adjustments left/right as you step up in size, giving a more of an ability to adjust and get that equal spacing so they match when laying next to each other. Would you say this reasoning is correct?
