I personally avoid using stamps with fields, especially crops. I always wedge these into the odd corners and strips of land surrounding the city. I pretty much just use stamps for farmer production when I first settle an island and for residential blocks so I don't have to decorate the whole city by hand.

I just bought the game and in complete edition. The stamps made the game really understandable for me. I was so confused with laying out and counting building ratios. if you are also collecting stamps like me, would suggest use numbers on the folder name to organize, as the game auto arranges alphabetical. 1 is for all the city stamps, then 2 onwards are for production layouts unlocked per popn type, and then all the rest. Also suggest naming the stamps using "end resource, description, credits". for example "pigs_simple" or "sausage pigs_large_annoreddit" or "canned food_Taka" , coz again game sorts by alphabet. As a fellow newbie - my suggestion is pay her and continue paying her. Give her gifts, give her whatever she wants. Took me ages of video watching to figure out the diplomacy and I'm still learning. I only generally do things when it says 'near certain' for the result.

My advice... Start over and do a custom game and remove her. She's the most difficult of the medium AI and it's a joke that she's the default for normal gameplay. I have a video on the best settings for new players that you should check out.

for fur coats i have an excellent stamp for it 12 + 6 wool/silo farms. then just need a solid separate hunting cabins or docklands import which is what i usually do for that. with the fur coats stamps it will supply about 50k artisian/investors people for the 12 of them. all in a nice clean set up, add more as you scale up as needed. generally that 1st one last very long time till i get million people then place more of them as need. 3 trade union items, works really good, lilly the fashion designer, costume designer, medal-winning producer. the medal winning producer, for their is just enough room to also squeeze in 6 grain farms to feed the silos for your sheep, getting the extra champaign for free along with it is just bonus nice 1 extra supply dont need to worry to much about with that extra coming in for it. with the grain boost and silo for them use the extra for flour n bread. the extra wool for work cloths so that one stamp helps sustain alot of extra stuff and needs. for several classes of citizens.

I had to laugh so loud when I saw your canned food stamp! I hate it too btw. Now that I use a mod with island wide range for trade unions, production stamps are not so important for me anymore. But your small production stamps for Schnapps etc are very helpful. I like to use the stampfunction for parts of islands that always will be the same ( Crown Falls, Manola, Taborime etc) where I found a good solution for certain corners of these islands which I like to use again.

Thanks for the stamps! I sometimes have a large demand for glass on CF but agree a stamp is unnecessary. I did stamp a corner of CF that includes mines and all my production, including electricity and a steam ship yard. Not really sharable though as people wouldnt know where to put it.

Idk how many knows about the Shift button when you make fields or animal closures.For example, by holding shift you can add 10 cattle closures instead of 4. Same was wheat field makes normally 144 tiles of field, by holding shift you can make 239 tiles. And you can also increase further the size with added trade union specialists.

Adding extra fields to a farm doesn't do anything other than a visual thing. If the farm says 144 out of 144 then that's all it can support. More doesn't do anything. You have to use items to increase the max number of fields that it can support before it does anything.

The wording of your comment makes it sound like adding the extra fields serves some purpose. The last sentence adds to this when you say that added trade union specialists "further increase the size". Could be easily misread that both ways of extending fields has a benefit when only one does... When using the specialists.

@@TakaKZbin Yes I am fully aware that most people understand what they want and so they need very detailed description on what was meant. Like putting on a microwave a warning label that you should not dry out cat in there or when a customer is near a big discount sing yet he screams to cashier "how much this cost". Yes I only said it increases the size, otherwise I would of added more specific information about the benefits the increasing of the fields give. Also last sentence was meant that with specialist you can also increase the size, but the benefits of specialists everyone who plays the game can read for themselves. Been a very nice winter days, it was almost -20C outside, crisp winter. Happy holidays!
