Hi Tysheen, thank you for reacting to my song request. Really enjoyed your video. Vanessa is an amazing singer and yes you got the name pronunciation correct and is Italian background. The song ‘Perfect’ wasn’t sung for ONJ it was written as a regular radio hit. This concert was to raise funds for the Cancer & Wellness Centre in Olivia’s name around 2008. The ONJ centre was first established at a major hospital in Melbourne’s northern suburbs. If you’re interested in more Vanessa you could check out her cover of ‘You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman’ or even better ‘Heroes Live Forever - Opening Ceremony Sydney 2000 Olympics’. Vanessa Amorosi is alive and well. The event Vanessa is singing for is named after actress/singer Olivia Newton-John who had cancer in the 2000's...she passed in the last year or two...it was very devastating to many people in the Australian music and film industry because it's smaller and many people know eachother and are friends (including Vanessa) with her. I remember entertainment industry journalists sobbing on live tv on the day she passed...it was sad.

If you’d like to get a better video of this for your library, please look up the remastered version that was done by Dr_KAP. It’s on her channel. The sound is so much clearer and she’s improved that issue with the volume. You said you’d like to hear more of Vanessa, so I recommend her version of “You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman” with Dave Stewart. Also, please check out her two big hits at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games opening and closing ceremonies, “Heroes Are Forever” and “Absolutely Everybody”.
