As a former witch, I say this with love but she’s talking to familiar spirits not actual dead people. Satan masquerades as an angel of light and I experienced that when I was in new age with my “spirit guides “ and I believed the spirit of my grandma and friend who ODed was with me as well. Things would get moved in my apartment or my ponytail would get flipped and I’d say “they’re letting me know they’re here” but the closer I got to accepting Jesus the more they turned on me. When I completely accepted Christ and renounced newage/witchcraft I experienced the most intense spiritual warfare of my life. I truly thought I was going crazy. These are demons and this is considered necromancy which God calls an abomination. “Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, 11 or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. 12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord; because of these same detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you” Deuteronomy 18:10-12
