Its so hard to see Vanessa skating without Morgan. They together gave us outstanding performances making us for a short time forget the ugliness of this word. I pray that some way they will get back together and once again skate for us.

Did I detect emotion in her voice when she said she has always tried to be perfect for someone else. We do understand that no one is perfect. We all try and do our best and if our hearts are content with what we have given than it's a good day. it shouldn't be for our country, or representation but because we felt happy that we gave it our All, and those who are watching can not only put a smile on their face but in their heart. I feel it's not that Vanessa looks like me but she is a good skater and her heart and soul went into it, and that has no color. One of the reasons I enjoy watching her is because she gives her everything into what she does on the ice. She definitely did it with Morgan as those two were fire and ice and now with Eric. All the very best to her in whatever she continues to do.

Vanessa James, you were gifted. You had the legs and lines for skating or ballet. All girls black or white aren’t that lucky. I don’t know what discrimination you, Debi Thomas, and Surya Bonaly faced. They won competitions and medals when they skated well.

While's she great she was never as good as when she was paired with Morgan Cipres. Its unfortunate that she chose to make statements distancing herself from him after the allegation. She should have simply stated 'no comment I was not involved.' Friends with that kind of bond should show compassion for each other and not desert each other in tough times.

Though I’m not clear on what the end goal was or only as a game to see whether he would do it. When other celebrities stick by their celebrity friends after they’ve been accused of wrongdoing, the public always cancels that person, too, whether it’s just an accusation, or not. If she’d not distanced herself, you’d be saying she ruined her career taking up for a predator. There’s no way for her to win in the situation. People usually never care if the the person actually did anything, or not, just the accusation, makes fans turn on them.
