Well that again is a perception. Madonna is well known in her arena true but so is vanessa. I dont know where you are from but Vanessa is very popular throughout europe. Her latest album divine idylle has been translated in several languages. Ever heard madonna's singles translated? The news of popularity spreads faster when you are an artist in USA. You think people would have heard of arnold swarchenegger if he became an actor in Germany? I rather doubt it =)
