They didn't, they all just took a year out to do their own thing. E.G Rochelle doing the xtra factor, Frankie and Una having babies, Mollie doing some modelling and Vanessa obviously working on her own material. They're coming back in the new year apparantly.

+ItsMe I've been a huge fan of them since they debuted in 2008 but I just can't honestly see them getting back together anytime soon, however I'd love to be proved wrong on that. Mollie, Vanessa and Una all have solo deals and albums to be released, Rochelle has her ever expanding fashion line and presenting opportunities and Frankie is busy with the strictly tour and her family at present. I read one of Una's interviews and she said the usual about The Saturdays reunion: “We have been together for quite a while so we can afford to take the time out now. We’ll come back together when we feel the time is right.” It seems like they've gone from saying "We definitely will reunite" to "Maybe when the time is right" So it could be this year, 2017 or maybe even 2018 or the worst case scenario, not at all. Maybe they plan to do the whole ten years thing like GA did, but would it work? Its not like they could release a Greatest Hits, seeing as it was the last thing they released before their hiatus. Maybe when one of the girls goes solo at full speed then maybe we'll know something about the groups position. *sighs heavily*

+UKMixer!Inspirit!ARMY!Starlight! I agree with you but I reckon they will release new stuff in time. I watched an interview when Frankie was talking to Heat and she basically said like Una, that most of them have families now and are just having a break. She also mentioned that all the girls are going to do their own thing this year and they will all get together around December time to discuss releasing for 2017. I understand and respect that decision but I miss them all together like crazy. Though, it may be healthy as a band to have that break as they will come back more fierce than ever I expect. If I recall, Westlife also did the same as The Saturdays around 2006, when Shane and Nicky both had children and then came back to release more music. I just hope they stick to their word and don't split as I will be gutted and I'm sure you and others will be too.

***** Yeah, I hope that when they do come back, if they stick to their word of course, that they go hard and get back in the girl band game, they'll need to do plenty of promo to get themselves back in the game, not just This Morning and Daybreak. I think in the past few years promo has been their downfall, they've had some good music out, but their promo is just awful, a brief appearance on this morning or daybreak and the odd radio interview is not really enough. I hope their not just giving us fans false hope, if they split after the whole "We're definitely getting back together" talk, then I'll be very disappointed.
