I was a sophomore in high school when this song came out and had a crush on a guy who was a junior, I used to listen to this song hoping it would turn out the same. @@tfoserauqsevoli Try some Lumineers or Home Free or Peter Hollins. Those are newer singers that are pretty good. I get what your saying majority of modern music is crap. But you can sometimes find newer stuff that is good. Vanessa Carlton her song "Thousand Miles" is early 2000s and is pretty great.

I remember days when this song would play on the radio during the evenings when it first came out- the sunset that lit the deep blue evening sky, cool weather and storms to come.. romantic days of the 90s... when life was so innocent.
