Jesus freaking Christ, how relatable the lyrics with that instrumental were. Like, "This is what is hurting me and I'm gonna burn it to ashes", ykwim? Now, in my late 20s and after going through some sh*t, Ronnie's version is just perfect for me. Same lyrics but such a different feeling and, holy hell, it still hits hard asf and is just as relatable lol

I am completely addicted to this song. It is a masterpiece and really insane by how good it is. I lost my mom about a year ago which obviously makes it hit much harder. But the changes within the song are so perfect. And the emotion and feeling that comes through in Ronnie's voice is ridiculous.

To me the lyrics hit harder. I think in the original most people, me included, only ever remembered the catchy chorus and it never clicked with me as serious topic. Teen angst sure but it just never hit as a serious song.

Ronnie Radke is just an amazing musical genius. He can do literally anything from rap to rock to hardcore metal to ballads. He also writes most of their original music lyrics and plays a few instruments. And they don't hold back on the budget for their music videos, they are always so epic.
