Hi do you think you would ever do some home buying tours with a quick get to know the area built in? I have never been to Ghana but am considering buying a home in Africa. They do these types of tours in South Africa.

I am perplexed how green and lush Ghana is and these developments squeeze out the gardens to almost non existent - the prices in Ghana are almost closing in to prices similar to the North West in the UK. How do locals in Ghana purchase homes at these prices? Are all the developments and properties now built in GH only for the pleasure of foreign investment? No wonder locals find it hard to stay in Ghana and look to leave for Europe/UK. It would be great if this channel could focus on the real Ghana. What locals think, what's affordable on localised level - Ghana is losing its green touch and these homogenised concrete homes are are just popping up every where, and my opinion, destroying the look of GH.
@kontomylitis21 күн бұрын
Developers have very tight budget. They don't want to pave roads. They don't want to do anything with greens, not enough family friendly amenities. All they want to do is build cheap as much as possible
@Monetus383221 күн бұрын
@@kontomylitis Budgets maybe tight, however the prices for properties are rising exponentially. There should be set regulations and quotas on keeping as much green space as they can on these developments, especially as the soil in GH is so arable - so allow home owners to grow - vegetables or fruit trees. And have enough space for children to roam enjoy - plant trees or replant - keep it lush and green. It cant turn into concrete mess - I am really keen to know what locals think about this expansion and landscape changes.

Ghanaians buy these houses as well. Same everywhere, some can afford, some cannot
@Monetus383220 күн бұрын
@elegantlady1158 Do you like the style of these properties? If you had 200 thousand dollars, would you buy one? Do you think as Ghanaian this price is reasobable - Do you know in east Africa you could buy two properties for this price, even in Zanzibar with more space ...I just think these properties that are being built are lacking style and not constructed with consideration of the land, the culture and the climate.

Vanessa, I think you really should consider leveraging more on your African American contacts to promote these properties! A lot of folks are looking to escape the high cost, crime and current political toxicity of North America and invest in Ghana's real estate. Thank me later when your channel explodes!

Those apartments are too expensive. How many Ghanaians can afford that???. I pray that the new President Mahatma will stop this fake economy in Ghana and create a real economy of growth and of inclusiveness.

There's Nothing The President can do about it. It's common sense. Basic Demand and Supply. Unless the government build subsidized houses there's nothing that can be done. Price control is fictitious.

In every country, there will always be those who can afford certain things and those who can't! Our aspiration should be the ability to accept our current situation with grace and gratitude without malice toward those we consider "affluent" or show conceit toward the less materially-privileged! Fortunes can change in an instant!
