I agree I was extremely sad when speak now was cut so short :( like brushed under the rug so quickly and overshadowed by 1989. each era for taylor is so important in its own way, but that one plus debut for me is her biggest. and thats because debut was her huge debut into the industry and thats special. and speak now, because its the album she wrote entirely and completely alone. that is insane and like no artist does that. it deserved so much more I agree!

So watching this I had no idea there were like 2 different looking pressings of the Tangerine 1989 Version. I hadn’t opened any of mine yet and I immediately went to check mine and turns out I did get one that’s made in France and I’d say it has a slight* marbling but nothing crazy. So thanks for making me realise haha.

I love your collection, but I would STRONGLY recommend that you take them out of the shrink wrap as it could damage the vinyl jacket over time and bend the corners. I wouldn't want anything to happen to your collection, especially your rare ones. I would also recommend getting record sleeves as the paper ones can damage the vinyl over time. No hate, just wanted to let you know and keep your collection safe.❤❤

No hate to anyone just my opinion but I barely started collecting her vinyls this year and I’ve managed to get every variation (minus the limited stuff) of all albums. As far as the “stolen” stuff, as a fan and collector I think you’re missing out by not getting the original versions because regardless, it’s still her work and she still gets paid for every unit sold (I bought everything brand new cause I’m keeping everything sealed). To each their own though 🤷🏽‍♂️

She doesn’t own the masters, that’s the difference. There’s some great videos out there about the importance of Taylor’s version and why you should support it. Also be careful because keeping vinyl sealed can actually harm the vinyl inside.

@@RachelLord Yes that is true, but lots of artists don’t own their masters, but they still get paid for every copy sold and every time a song is used for anything so those videos don’t mean anything, money is not being stolen from her. And vinyl is fine sealed it just needs to always be stored upright sealed or opened.

LOVE THESE VIDEOS I was so excited when I saw you post it!!!! I have a thought!!! when you said that it wouldn't work to have taylor do all three speak now colors into one vinyl, I thought about it and technically she did do two for the lover vinyl! There's a pink one and a blue one inside the same cover. and the Lover vinyl isn't any more pricey than the rest of them. I am also 100% in agreement I am SO SO sad taylor didn't use different covers for the colors : ( I want to display all three but I cant because the covers are all the same and its MY FAVORITE photoshoot of all of her albums so I wish I could show more of it. tbh she could have even done like a limited edition vinyl with all 3 colors, and then done 3 normal individual colored ones but those would have different colors - that way you had options if you wanted either all 3 colors, or all 3 plus the different covers. idk if that made sense but I think you and I should be designers for taylors merch hahah

I was sooo desperate for the LLFP, managed to pick it up about 6 months ago for £250 and it’s so beautiful but I’m scared to play it too much because I only have a suitcase player. Tangerine one in EU doesnt have the bonus track sweeter than Fiction where in speak now was fully same as the Target exclusive thats why there isnt a Target excl sticker on 1989 tv

Tangerine in the UK does have sweeter than fiction. The lavender midnights, tangerine 1989 and lilac speak now vinyl are all the exact same as the target edition.

I live in the US and those specifically have been a bit hard to find. Evermore comes in and our of stock at target and it's red. Rep has been randomly found at barnes and nobles I found it on mercari for retail. The only stolen I've seen more in stores is 1989.

Hi! So basically Taylor only owns the masters of Taylor’s version and owning her masters is a big thing for her. If you purchase the stolen version from a store, they see it’s still popular and continue ordering it. The main intention of tv is to devalue those stolen versions.
