hey y’all there’s been some controversy about me being against “all lives matter” and how it was “rude” of me to speak up, here is what i have to say: if you know me & watch my videos, you know i have nothing but love to give and rarely use harsh language HOWEVER seeing racism and ignorance continue ESPECIALLY in my community is angering. while i agree everyone can have their own opinions on things such as food & style, there is NO SPACE for you to have your “own opinion” about race. you’re either racist or not there’s no middle there’s no “i have my own opinions”. while yes, all lives obviously matter, not all of them are treated that way, specifically black lives which NEED OUR ATTENTION & SUPPORT! here’s an analogy- let’s say your friends house is on fire. are you going to call firefighters for every other house in the neighborhood because “all houses matter”, no you’re going to call for the house that is on fire because it NEEDS HELP!!! saying “all lives matter” as a deterrent from “black lives matter” is ignorant. black lives have been suppressed for centuries, elijah mcclain & breonna taylor’s murderers are still walking free to this day. elijah’s case is being reinvestigated due to 2 million signatures on a petition, don’t stop pushing for change, don’t stop using your voices, and please keep educating yourself! it’s not a moment y’all & it’s gonna take you doing everything you can on a daily basis to push for true change. sorry for my rant, but i wanted to give more input
