Group 3 was very very accurate. My partner hurt their back very badly, it was an injury that was sustained during their work as a kayak guide when we lived in New Zealand together for 6 months. They are healing now but whenever they get physically messed up their mental health goes right with it. Their capacity to handle stress goes out the window because they have no ability to be physically active. We always joke they're like a husky, they need to be moving almost 24/7. So right now their self esteem and confidence in their future goals has dwindled to nothing because they can't even bend down without shooting pains. The split personality card shook me as well as the one about cheating. They have been emotionally cheated on before and have been open about their deep insecurity but they only opened up about it when they literally couldn't hold it in anymore. There was so much heartbreak and pain and fear attached to their expression of this insecurity that we cried together when they shared it with me. They have a past of being a partier and a fuckboy (before we met) and they've been working very hard to recover from that and they're almost completely unrecognizable now. But this split has made it so hard for them to truly be okay and happy with themselves because they still haven't processed or forgiven their past. I'm Jewish and we were playing a question game the other day and they got a question about what religious faith (culturally I'm jewish but not religiously) was most important in their life and they said "Judaism because my partner is Jewish and its very important to them so I'm trying to learn and understand as much as I can." and I was shocked by this open and true response. A few years ago they tried to commit suicide and they do have OCD and insanely perfectionist. They constantly think I think they aren't good enough :/ but I'm working on making that change. We've been together almost a year, our anniversary is in September. Right now they wanted to break up with me because they didn't want me to have to deal with their distance as they heal but we agreed on taking a break for a couple months for both of us to work through some shit.
