tip for moving the heavy-ish furniture: you can put a large piece (or several pieces) of scrap cardboard such that it is under each leg, it should make sliding the furniture easier and less harsh on the floors. hope that helps!

I'm in the process of restyling my bedroom/office I live at home. I really like the updates and think about buying some new pieces but I don't know where to put them. I'm getting rid of things and new electronics by the end of the summer.

Yes! The outlet is on that side of the table in the floor so to not have a long cord everywhere it made more sense to me.
