We walked 20 Km! Join us in the NS walk Hierdense Poort through Veluwe, Hulshorsterzand & Willemsbos

Come with us through dense forests, long heaths, and across the vast Hulshorsterzand, in the Netherlands. The walk goes from Nunspeet station to Harderwijk station and is 20 km long! It can be shortened by using the bus, but be aware: the bus must be reserved.
We first climbed the watchtower at the Veluwetransferium for the view of the Veluwe, then we went through the Willemsbos, and crossed the vastness of the sand drifting Hulshorsterzand (it is impressive).
In the end, we were exhausted, but super happy too! It is amazing how walking can be good for your brain and body! Nevertheless, perhaps 20 km was too much for me, I was satisfied already at the 12 km - so next time I will reserve the bus =P
