This is by far one of the best videos of You on the subject. I requested You earlier to review QT's 'Inglorious Basterds' and others....the request is still on, please consider it. Your take on the violence is apt and like me, many cinelovers like me will agree with you on the point of social reflection. Indeed the proper and perfect use of Violence makes a craft more inclined towards perfection. But an age is coming where violence is merely a commercial element and our society is being manipulated so wrongly that now a days even children are enjoying just the scenes of violence without even understanding the context. We as country are rooting for more unnecessary violent scenes and not for directors who use violence for the reflection of mankind. Just a day back I finished watching Jigarthanda DoubleX, couldn't go to theatre. That is how power of cinema should be reflected. But taste of our audiences towards gore and violences are turning towards such way where cinema will just be a weapon to kill moral conscience. I think this is why directors like QT and Vetri are so much needed still.....I wish QT continues after his tenth, but it's a dream right now.

The problem is not the violence but the director itself. His opinion in his interviews shows how immature he is as a person. I mean "If u don't have the liberty to slap your partner then that's not love" this kind of statement is problematic on so many levels. The way he glorifies misogynistic that's the problem I feel. Personally I love Violent films and in my opinion Animal was not that much Violent as compared to the other movies you mentioned. Yesterday I saw Dhruve Rathe's video where he gave an example of a person who spends his whole life in a toxic environment and a men's dominant society. What, will he do after watching this kind of toxicity from the director itself and that too was unscripted. I think this is where the problem starts. Anyways that's my opinion, I don't think the movie itself makes that much spark but the director did.

U see the reels,shorts and u will get the answer. How RK's character is described evrywher as alpha male etc. This is the doing of our generation. U see a Gangs of wassey, violence ,revenge evrything is there bt there u dont c Nawaz as the protagonist,or u dont feel lyk he is Alpha,coz the director treated him as the character. Problem with animal is this only. The treatement,which is inevitable when u do such films with a big star. U cant make him an unlikeable character. Lyk in Tarantino's films,u will nvr feel lyk Jamie fox is the Alpha etc. Dikkat yahipe a jata hai. In india,film is a part of our lyf, kitna v hum bole ki affect nhi karta,it does. He doesnt lose anything...he is still heroworshipped by his son,he doesnt go to jail,he never regrets his life choices,he is never shown as the anti hero and he is never shown as an immatured,mentally challanged, sick person...who is problematic and whose thoughts are regressive and hence he regrets being like that...no he is still shown as a hero whose wife sadly left him...his emitions are glorified which should not be shown He doesnt even end up in a mental asylum...he still ends up as a hero who is simply unfortunate...but truth is his character is not a hero, yes he is unfortunate not because he loses everything...but because childhood trauma turned him into an undesirable problematic person with a very bad character...which is never addressed in the movie...so no he doesnt get the ending people like him do and should...

That itself shows what kind of brutal consequences Vijay & his family gonna face in the future, that will be shown in ANIMAL PARK. His father is about to die, his son worships him as till now he hasn't see his negative side. He still thinks he's doing it for his family so for him he's the real hero. His wife was simply crying for her child, not for her husband. That's the difference. Even we men too wished deepika ended up in a mental asylum after watching gehraiyaan but her deed was justfied as a part of depression and childhood trauma? Sadly feminists like u won't say this. Acc to u if men cheat that's cheating, if women cheat its her choice 🥱🥱

আমি এই কথাটা শুরু থেকে বলছি, অ্যানিমালের স্ক্রিপ্ট খুব বাজে। খুবই খাজা। এবং ছবিটা আরও দশগুণ ডার্ক হওয়া উচিত ছিল ইন টার্মস অফ স্ক্রিপ্ট। বাবা ছেলের সম্পর্কের ডেপথটাই মিসিং। সেকেন্ড হাফে স্ক্রিপ্ট আরও ঝুল। কিন্তু এখন কিছু ল্যাজঝেড়ে ছাপরি এসেছে মার্কেটে, যে মালগুলো সিনেমা দেখা শুরু করেছে কেজিএফ দেখে। যারা ইন ফিউচার মাল খেয়ে বাড়ি ঢুকে বউ পেটাবে। তারা এই সিনেমাটাকে, অ্যানিমালকে গ্রেট ফিল্ম বলছে কারণ ওরা জানেই না গ্রেট ফিল্ম কী। একজন ডাইরেক্টর নিজস্ব মিসোজেনিকে প্রমোট করছে নিজের প্রোটাগনিস্টকে দিয়ে, নারীদের নিয়ে তার নিজস্ব স্থূল মানসিকতাকে গ্লোরিফাই করছে নিজের ফিল্মে, অথচ ছাপরিগুলো জাস্ট বুঝতেই পারছে না এটা। সিনেমাহল থেকে বেরিয়ে বোঝা যায়, কী বালের স্ক্রিপ্ট দেখলাম। রণবীর কাপুরের অসাধারণ পারফরম্যান্স ছাড়া, আর পাঞ্জাবি গানটা ছাড়া, সিনেমাটায় এমন কী আছে যেটা আগে দেখিনি, ছাপরিরাই বলতে পারবে। এরপর কিছু আবাল পালটা যুক্তি দেবে, ফোর মোর শটস প্লিজ, বা থ্যাংক ইউ ফর কামিং.. ওরে আবাল, উগ্র ফেমিনিজম এবং উগ্র মিসোজেনি, দুটোই কদর্য।

@@thejashorianguyofficial সিনেমাটার প্রধান প্রবলেম স্ক্রিপ্ট। পুওর স্ক্রিপ্ট৷ এই সিনেমাটা আরও দশগুণ বেশি ডার্ক হবে, এক্সপেক্ট করেছিলাম। এত খাজা স্ক্রিপ্ট আশা করিনি। আমার সমস্যা অন্য কেউ বউ পেটানো নিয়ে যতটা, তার চেয়ে বেশি পরিচালকের বউ পেটানো সমর্থন করাকে। এবং তিনি নিজে যেভাবে কবীর সিং এর সমালোচনা নিতে পারেননি, ফলে এই ফিল্মে ক্রিটিকদের বান্টু দেখিয়েছেন বাঁদরের মত। তাতে বোঝাই যায় তিনি নিজেই আলফা মেল নন। একেবারেই নন। তিনিও সমালোচনা নিতে জানেন না। আশা করি ক্লিয়ার করতে পেরেছি।

I totally disagree with you in this !! Firstly there's no way on can think that the movie had no consequences for Ranvijay, He has been shown having immense love and obsession for his father, all of his madness and battle to protect his father, finding the enemies killing them one after another goes in vain when Balbir gradually dies (or will be dying) of cancer. His wife leaves him in the end and only his son stood by him (as is the main theme of this saga). and everyone is so busy talking about the morality that almost nobody (critic) is talking about the top notch screenplay, staller performances, robust dialogs and writing etc., aren't those parameters to judge a film ?

and buddy I never understand how come people say Gangs of Wasseypur is a good film....it's totally have no sense....Like in most films including Animal the violence done by the character ha s a motive (protecting their loved one) but in GOG they literally kill each other for no good reason....I mean y'all art people have really weird taste....people like you just looks at a black painted sheet and calls the "wow what a piece of art" !!

Imagine them getting pissed because of this much violence 😭😭 imagine them watch movies like I saw the devil 😂😂 Story wasn't that good in second half tbh and easily 30 mins should have been trimmed. But the violence was pretty good considering Indian cinema Bobby Deol's scenes were pretty brutal too. Overall I think Vanga will again go one step further and do something even more in Animal Park. I will only go to watch the violence in that one ( if he doesn't disappoints )
