Dear Vangelis, I just want to let you know, whenever your soul may be ascending to, is similar to what you left to us in this world. The burning tears that I had for my late father who passed away on January 12, 2020 is the very same as of May 17, 2022. I believe many also felt the same. You spoke of love, courage, sympathy, greatness and hope like no one else could. When it was and will be difficult, you were the father; friend; light; closer to God and to nature itself for every single heart that listened to you. And for that, I really do hope that heavens exist so we/I can thank you there. All that is left is to carry the blissful smile in honor of your existence that happened once in a lifetime. May your spirit of sound never rest and echo for eternities.

Had my own “Chariots of Fire” moment around 10 years ago. I used to run cross-country competitively in college. We had a stretch of naturally occurring trails that ran through various farms and towns in a valley area in upstate New York. Open land and crop fields as far as the eye could see. Anyway, a few of the boys and I ran on a section of trail that went through one of the farms. One that had horses, no less. About 4-5 of the horses ran with us for about 300-400 meters before they reached the boundary of the farm and we continued on the trail. It’s an unforgettable moment that I will take to my grave.

THE greatest melody writer of our generations. With "Conquest of Paradise", "Petite fille de la mer", "Mythodea Movement 9" and this - this is easily the most epic yet soulful tunes of the last century. Feels like it's too much too big melodies for 1 composer to create. Vangelis' god-like music was the thing that made me want to become a composer myself. Which now I did. Sometimes I try to re-create music in Vangelis' heavenly style. Thank you for being my mentor, maestro. Your legacy will live for generations.
