I think you really said it best, Vangelus This figure is filled with love for the character. It drips off of it like...drippy....stuff. It's clear that a lot of love and care went into making this thing, and it really is the best version of vos I could ask for.

The idea that Feral Rex would actually put away his sword and pick up a tiny robot that transforms into a rifle so he can kill someone from a couple miles away is just silly. And I have zero problems with that because it's so ridiculous that it loops right back around to being awesome again.

BiomasterM2 Feral Rex would Probably use Cynius as a rifle when precision targeting was needed. And remember: Rex already has an arm-mounted cannon MADE OF SMALLER GUNS (that most likely have the same combat effectiveness as a shotgun) & shoulder-mounted cannons that could probably level a Metroplex-sized skyscraper! All this just adds to Rex's overall combat options for a gestalt.

Daniel Brant That is a pretty good point. He has several armories worth of guns on him already.(granted the only ones that might work well at range are his shoulder cannons) I just thought he'd be a more 'in your face' kinda guy considering the reason he's so mentally 'stable' (for a combiner) is because all his components *really* like killing dudes with their bladed weapons (sans Talon). Plus if you had a giant sword that splits into twin axes would you rather use those or a relatively normal weapon like a sniper rifle. (of course everything I said is based on what I remember about Predaking, so I'm not sure how much of that translates into Feral Rex.)

snukastyle Generations Whirl is more G1 than MTMTE. To get a good MTMTE Whirl requires a HFTD Tomahawk OR the Springer repaint AND some how getting a hold of a shapeways kit that is no longer available.

Unfortunately my Cynicus broke like the 2nd day I had him; the ball-socket/joint that holds his rifle mode scope parts was pretty finicky and snapped. I was able to contact MMC, and they said they'd send me a replacement. A month and a half ago...
