I noticed in another review of this Tripod, I noticed the the center shaft when moving the ball head around and up and down, the shaft seemed to move or shake pretty much. Does this happen when you use it ans also is it an Arca Swiss ballhead ?

I would like to know about Reliability and stability. I live near the beach so I would be shooting a lot in the sand. I would like to know how this tripod deals with sand. If it enters and if is it possible to clean. Also build quality and stability. I have seen a lot of Alta series Vanguard tripods breaking and not beeing really stable. So I'm aiming towards some Benro models which will cost me around 200 with ball head. I can't spend all this money now, but if it is the way to have stable long exposures, I will need to save money.

Had an Alta pro 2+ not that stable and you cannot take those twists grips apart for cleaning. They sent this tripod as a replacement for the previous version as the rubber on the twist grips fell off, they disintegrated.The main gripe was the there was nothing to stop the tripod legs closing on your fingers when carrying with camera attached. No hook to attach you bag to tripod for stability. Who uses them stupid carry cases.

Have you attached the ball head to low angle adaptor? Arent the screw sizes different?

Vanguard may have a U.S. office but company headquarters is in Guangdong China according to Vanguardworld site. Nothing wrong with that just correcting your comment "they're an American company". Nice review, thanks. 👍🏻

I bought one of these today mainly on strength of video review. I got the blue accent one though. You're right.... nicely made, very light, and a great price. I might just contradict you on one thing though - made in, of all places, Myanmar. Who knew they actually made "stuff" in Myanmar? :) Thanks for the recommendation though.
