They kicked ass on the street too! lol My ex and I had one back in the late 70's. Can't remember if it was a 68 or 69. Even I liked to put the pedal down. I'd be at a stop light, pull it into a low gear (automatic) and as soon as the light changed.....it was............EAT MY DUST! lol

This was my favorite car! Purchased in 1970 for $1,800, totalled it in 1971. Great car.

My Dad's mother had 1 like this 1, But her's had the 5.8 351 Windsor 4 barrel with a AM/8 Track Tape player in it.

my brother bought one just like that in about 74 ,green,hood scoop,390 ,4 speed...never touched,900.00...from the ford dealership

nice car! I have a very similar car here in the UK. S-code GT390 just like that one, in about the same condition, albeit in acapulco blue with the white C-stripe and running the original 390 FE / C6 / 3.25 trac-loc, could you please tell me what your car sold for? My insurance company don't have an accurate value, so I'm trying to get a feel of what these cars are actually worth. many thanks. for the record, I'd buy that car in a heartbeat if I didn't have one already! lol! cheers, Nick, UK.
