Also, the heroic segments of Hikari used to be Lucia's theme when they first fought. Qu's half of the song was all harsh drum beats and war chants, a pessimistic warrior with a grim duty and brutal means. Now we hear the horns and drums joining into the melody, as if Qu has now taken on Lucia's courage and sacrifice.

What i love about PGR soundtrack is that Boss theme songs work in similar fashion like Metal Gear Rising : Revengeance ones- songs during boss fights are theme songs for both the Boss AND protagonist. Narwhal belongs to Alpha and Rosetta. Lamia belongs to Vera and Lamia. And Hikari belongs to both Lucia and Qu.

I used to think that Tony Yan was one of Vanguard's weaker composers. His style just felt basic, using only a handful of instruments at a time, and it always felt like he was simply following Ghostfinal's more EDM heavy theme. But this piece completely changed my mind. The greater variety of instruments adds much more depth to the song. While the heavy use of strings, something I noticed him toying with in some of his earlier pieces, works to differentiate him from his fellow composers at Vanguard. Combining to create a unique signature much how Ghostfinal likes to use fast staccatos of bass or how Polyblue trends towards slower more synth heavy tracks. I'm looking forward to seeing Yan continue to develop his own unique style, if he can keep creating music of this caliber I can see him filling a much needed niche in Vanguard for these more traditional, almost operatic style pieces.

I really fucking love this game. If you play devotedly and just do your dailies, weeklies and the story chapters, you will eventually be able to pull for all the characters. Maybe even try for their weapons because the pities are so low. Until now, I haven't lost a 50/50 because of how high the chances are to get the character. If you missed them, the gacha pool even resets ever few days and the new characters get added to the pool within 3 months. Plus you get a lot of resources and memories just from events that building your newly pulled characters will be a breeze. Unlike a certain other game where its all fucking RNG and have to wait at least a year for the banner to be available again. Right now, I am catching up on the characters I missed starting from Liv Empyrea onward, I'm currently on Ayla Kaleido chapter and I can grab her and Alisa for free from the Dorm shop.
