I don’t know if you have looked at the numbers on Assault Terminators with Lightning Claws in LAG, but if not you should. Especially with the ability to take a Librarian for Sustained Hits. I would recommend it highly

Claw termies are a lot of fun - I’d contend that the +1 to wound from a chaplain (not to mention the added durability of the 4+++ against MWs) stands out a bit more so you can save on CP.

​@@jwb590I don't take blood angels specific models so I get the +1 to wound from oath, making chaplains a little less valuable. I came to the same conclusion, that lightning claw terminators are insane, because I was looking for a unit that could reliably one-tap the game's toughest units (eg the avatar of khaine with lightning fast reactions and -1 to wound from a farseer). I like the durability of the hammer boys though, so a mix of hammers and claws is probably decent.

Played the new WE detachment last night, felt very organised. Precise aggression. Very CP hungry though and I can see the case for not taking Angron. Daemon Prince died with an enhancement before doing anything, and Angron failed a 5 inch charge so never got to fight.

just finished my first game with my BA army, they are so good, beat a Nid army, we played 2K. was tempted to start WE later in the year but no need as I have the close combat army I've been craving.

Nice armies and battle. However, ideally the main camera angle would be a bit more 'top-down' (or elevated) on the board to actually see wider positions and game states throughout... Other than looking at two blokes in different coloured T-shirts standing either side of a table with terrain from a horizontal point of view this could almost be considered a 'podcast battle report' as not much visually is happening or 'worth' looking at in the frame as a whole...a cinematography point perhaps! 😅

I don’t understand the inclusion of DC, they get built in hit re rolls, this detachment is trying to break stuff like SG squads, intercessor/sternguard brick shooting, possibly Hellblasters with a LT
