Vanilla Calamity Mod Music - "Fated Insurrection" - Theme of Wall of Flesh

Side Story 37: This song was by far the hardest one to write so far. I'm going to be taking a bit of a break after this track as it kinda burned me out. I'm really proud of this song and I kind of headed into it as if it was like my own Raw Unfiltered Calamity as they both kinda feel like false endings.

The first time I fought Wall of Flesh I felt raw, unfiltered ANXIETY. That's my main pull when it comes to WoF themes, I want to feel the anxiety of this being the end of pre-hardmode. And I am so so glad that anxiety is a big part of this theme. Great job Heart, take that well deserved break.

This new theme honestly made me see the Wall of Flesh in a completely new light. While it was already associated with panic and menace, now it gives me a different feel;

This fight fills me with stress every time, something about the constant barrage of lasers combined with your restrictive pre hardmode movement and the wall just getting faster and faster. This song does a good job of capturing that. The release of finally killing it and immetiatly hearing "Ressurection of a cruel world" right after and thinking "Oh shit im in hardmode" is definitely one of the highlights of the mod. Well done.

NO WAY! It's actually here, oh my god oh my god. Wall of Flesh has been one of my absolute favourite bosses and it was sad to see it not receive as much love as some other vanilla bosses did in most mods. But having this theme play over the WoF fight gave it SO MUCH MORE ENERGY. Seriously shows how these incredible soundtracks truly change the vibe of the game.

This song is the best, 'fated insurrection', it has the weight of the world imbued into it, some sorrow, some stress, and a whole lot of glory to be earned, this is fate, this is you versus the seal to the world, this is an action that must be taken and will change the world!
