Vanilla/Classic WoW Warrior Macros! Everything You Need!

For all of you saying that I can just write "/cast" and "#showtooltip" you guys have to understand that this is Vanilla. Macro scripts back then were very complicated, and /cast didn't exist until late TBC. The only way to make macros in vanilla is some sort of /script or /action followed by a lot of text.

Supermacro cannot be used in Classic because it's based on forbidden functions from TBC onwards such as CastSpellByName and TargetUnit. So forget about this syntax and get familiar with the ones from retail. Reason being is "Blizzard want smart players, not smart buttons".

Question about the Shield Bash macro: how do you equip the shield? do you press your macro for 1h+shield first and then the SB macro?(assuming you want to use SB and not pummel) I really would like to know!

Yes, since you have to have a shield equipped to use shield bash. There might be a way to make a macro to equip and shield then use shield bash, but shield bash and pummel share a cooldown.

To pull this off, in your shield bash macro simply have a /useaction # referencing your equip sword and board first. So you you have a 2hander, you can spam your shield bash macro and it will equip your 1h shield, def stance at the same time and then shield bash. Extremely useful pre lvl 32 when fighting casters.

you can literally combine the two macros into one and defeat half the process lol. you can make a macro that goes into D stance and equips 1h/shield, then press it one more time to reflect. im telling you right now..dont listen to this guy when it comes to warrior macros for vanilla. he could simplify them so much more with supermacro he just doesnt know half the commands

Fairly bit late to the party. But I was wondering if there was a simple way to see WHEN I can cast something. Like I got the script able to change stance and use power. But it won't light up that I can use it unless I'm in that stance. Anyway to change that?

the stance change macro is blocked by bliz. it says: "a macro script has been blocked from an action only available to the blizzard ui" there is another macro in the comments ill see if that works

you can equip two one handed weps in one macro without equipping your 2 handed first.. its literally just /eq (mainhand wep) /eqoff (offhand wep) and yes its a vanilla macro lol. dont doubt me.

When I macroed abilities to Autoattack macro + ability, if it does apply a debuff, chronometer does no longer recognize it as a debuff, and it doesn't show anything. Right now I have the autoattack macro on rend (im leveling) and on sunder armor, which are two abilities I would like to see when they fade. Any advice?

That is super weird, maybe try using a different addon? (Not sure if chronometer is a DPS addon) Only advice would be to keybind the auto attack ability instead of macroing it in. Otherwise, I'm not sure, sorry.

I just have mine on key bind, Z= Battle stance, X = Def stand and C= Berserker. all my abilities are on side of mouse so... pretty simple. dont need macro, I just spam C and intercept button on mouse same time :)

Equipable items with on use abilities have a CD of 30 seconds after equipping them, so you cannot equip it and then immediately use it. You also can't use it while cc'd, so unless you use it before getting sheeped/blinded it won't work.

You are probably using a normal macro. Try this link instead legacy-wow.com/vanilla-addons/SuperMacro/ and when downloaded, open the file and only extract the "supermacro" file that is inside the file you opened to ur addons. This should solve the issue.

All that the overpower macro does is the same thing that the other macros do, switches you to battle stance then casts overpower. You need to press the macro twice.

The classic version of the game on official servers uses the current ver programming language in macros. All conditions are prohibited. ( IF, ELSE, RUN, THEN etc)

You can try something like: /Equip "Shield Name" /cast Shield Bash and to go back to dual wielding, something like: /script equipslot17("off-hand weapon name") Did this from memory, so might not work. Just google for it and you should get to something. You do need the Supermacro addon most likely.

44k people will be using your half ass macros when classic comes out and i hate it. There will already be bad warriors so why give them half ass macros. Like the "you cant dual wield 1h in a macro if you currently have a 1h+shield out"...thats not true. If you really want to play warrior in Vanilla just ask me the proper way to script these macros with/without supermacro. And before someone says "lololol not in vanilla u nerd" just know that i play vanilla currently and have been for awhile.
