Vanilla, the Cavalier King Charles puppy. First vet visit adventure (she cries a little) 🐶💉

We took Vanilla to the vet for the first time. The vet gave her a vaccine shot. Vanilla stayed calm, but the shot made her a little upset. When we're back home, she's feeling relaxed.

Poor baby! She’s so good. My cavalier has always been averse to strangers handling him so the vet is pretty stressful for him.

Even as a puppy? 🐶 people say they bring dogs to groomers as wee babies so they get used to it? I had a rescue shitzu who only like me so bringing her to get groomed was very stressing

@@bunjijumper5345 Mine has just always been this way. He has to be very familiar with you before he’s comfortable being handled and petted. It’s not just the vet. He’s an introvert I guess. Once he knows you well he’s all for petting and cuddles.
