The E series 5.4 is the 2v design the 3v is the one with spark plug breaking problems. They can strip the threads and shoot a sparkplug out taking the cop with it.

Thanks for the Ford engine info. Was not aware of the 5.4 Triton problems. I've been looking for a van like this to convert. Will probably stay away from the Triton series motors and look for the 4.6 liter.

How did you lift it? I can’t find 4 inch lift coil springs for the front anywhere. I have found four-inch lifting blocks for the rear.

There are 2 places here in Southern Los Angeles that specializes in these vans, one is Action van & the other is Weldtec designs (weldtecdesigns.com/) both are awesome. I had mine installed with Action Van and will recommend them. If your here in California, have them install it.

The owner ended up installing an 800+ hp turbo charged Coyote engine with a handbrake. Now the van is a crazy drift mobile. You have to look at the bigger picture sometimes...

Having Action Van install the lift themselves cost Approx $3,500 with upgraded radius arms being mine is a 2003 & added a front stabilizers. Don't need to upgrade if yours is 2007 and up I think.

They are the original mirrors, but they have since been swapped out with the large tow mirrors and the van looks extra good now.
