Dear Logan, Thank you so much for the videos. love your content. I have a question. I have a vague memory of watching a video by you, in which you reviewed a book (probably a modern american novel which was rather unpopular) and mentioned it was one of the best books you have ever read or something like that. I'm not sure how accurate I am by I could not find that video in you channel again. Somehow, I thought it was Stoner by John Williams but I am not sure at all. I would deeply appreciate it if you could tell if I am right. Thanks again!

@@alilatifshushtari That’s a good question and I’m not sure I know the answer. I don’t read too much modern fiction and I don’t read too many American novels (at least not ones I love). The best book of I’ve read in recent memory is Anna Kavan’a Ice (although she is British). I’ve also spoken highly of work by Shirley Jackson, Daphne Du Maurier, and Clive Barker. Perhaps you’re thinking of Mordew by Alex Pheby (also British). That was fairly poorly reviewed and I loved it. Hope that helps.

Thank you Logan for the useful review, I enjoyed it. And talk about bloated, the horror genre itself. Good lord. So I like when you do horror book and movie reviews because it's something I don't want to spend a lot of time on myself. I'd rather just go and watch your recommendations

I haven't read this book yet, though I like Kubrick's adaptation of THE LUCK OF BARRY LYNDON more every time I see it.
