I loved her as much as I loved myself back then. She was the most beautiful person I had ever seen. I remember being 15 and seeing the Jet magazine layout of Vanity6 in back of the Limo. I starred at it for hours. She was so gorgeous and free. No1 hated her, no1 ever said a bad thing about her. She was Vanity. There'll never be another. I chatted with her a bit last year and she gave me her ph#. I haven't called yet. I mean, what do you say to Vanity? LOL. I just love her so much!

As far as the French spoken part, she talks about how she adores & loves her mirror or something to that effect. Been since 1970 HS that I tried to speak it! Yes SISTER Denise's song is a cult classic but it was that before she died because she gave herself to God. Let's all honor her memory as the evangelist by loving each other and trying to do right by each other. Thanks for posting.

Vanity plays to her strengths and speaks French with Morris Day for a fine duet of style, sardonic with, playful banter. She moans and wriggles with perfection and vocalizes with attitude. This is her forte. One of favorite tracks. Lil Kim should learned from her.

"Fishnet" was a good song even if the Album was a flop. However, the work he did with "The Time" was much better. "Get It Up", "Gigolo Get Lonely Too", and "The Walk" are classics. Still his first solo release was one cassette I played from side to side. Song included "Oak Tree", "The Character", and the very underated "Don't Wait For Me".
