What a beautiful life you live. I fell so in love with the west after taking a road trip from Kansas City to Denver and ultimately to the Grand Canyon back in 2015. I'd never been west of Kansas in my life, aside from layovers in LA. I started making childhood dreams come true after that. So much so that now I live in Denver and live so much closer to all the things I love out west. I hope to, some day, live a nomadic lifestyle also. I'm a bit more high maintenance that you, ha ha, and will definitely need something at least like a nice Air Stream. However the idea of cooking my food over fire outside and dining in Nature fills me with hope for a peaceful and contented life.

Hey Brian, quick little cooking tip for ya, get your hands on a wide mouth mason jar lid ring. Give it a spray with cooking oil and plop it down in your pan. Once your pan heats up, crack your egg into the ring. It's the perfect size for those muffins. Definitely egg mcmuffin worthy!

Love Vedauwoo (pronounced Vee-da-voo). I live in Cheyenne so it's just 30 miles. We used to go tent camping there years ago and then when we got our first motorhome we camped there at the end of October and it snowed. A lot! Next time you're in the area you should check out the Ryan Park, WY area. It's about an hour from Laramie up in the mountains and absolutely gorgeous! Lots of places to camp. You left just in time. We had a cold front come through last night. It's only going to be in the 50's tomorrow during the day.

I have been an off roader for years. When we get to the back country we air down our tires. Taking 8 - 10 lbs of air out of your tires when starting on gravel roads with washboard helps a lot with the ride. A half decent air compressor is only about $60.00. I would think if you are boondocking you should have a tire repair kit and an air compressor anyways. My tire repair kit and compressor saved some travelers on Jungo Road when going to Burning Man in 2014.

Lovely area, Brian, and THX for the view as my Son is up there attending Grad school, along with teaching Chemistry at U of Wyoming in Laramie, and Mom has yet to visit~:( Planning my trip even while writing this... Greg loves it there and enjoys lots of climbing on all those amazing rocks~ Except a bit "chilly" in those Winters up there for that Southern Cali Boy! I detest rodents so that would chase me out of the van or any vehicle, although I am pretty weird as any size spider can share my space and does not bother at all, lol. Will even pick them up to examine so my Daughter thinks Mom is simply nuts...Others do too:) Footage is excellent!!

Love the video. When I saw the big rocks, first thing I thought of was snakes. You are the pro and probably well aware of all the things to be aware of. Like many, I don't like to see graffiti spoiling the natural looks of the land. That's being so disrespectful. Looking forward to your new adventures since you are in a part of the country I have never seen with my own eyes. Enjoy and have a great week ahead.

@chainsawcabinetshop4928 жыл бұрын
I have had decent luck putting a container such as a quart oil jug cut off about 4" tall, wedging it between whatever you can find under the hood and then putting moth balls in the container and adding/or changing them out when the lose the smell. I had some wiring chewed up before I started doing that and haven't had a problem since.
