When I turned 55 and broke up with my last boyfriend, that was it for me. Years of different relationships have taught me very valuable lessons. And now at 58 years old, I have never been happier being alone. I will never be in another relationship. Living life for me is what I need. I am so done with the drama and heartbreak. I do what I want when I want and it’s absolutely amazing wonderful.

I caught the livestream but had to watch this last vlog later. It has been an absolute blast watching chapter 4, from camping with Lindsey and Sadie, the crib games, days in the life, Lucky’s new build, also fixing issues with Lucky 🍀, Grace’s role, traveling to BC, fun with Brooklyn and the family and so many laughs. You truly are an amazing person, and a wonderful daddy to Brooklyn and of course Miss Penny ❤ I’ve had many lol’s. It takes alot to open up about sharing your past relationships with your community. Wow, just wow - well done, Matthew Allen! 👏🎉 This was such a great finale!! I needed to watch it twice (too many interruptions the first time). I loved everything about this one, especially the drone footage (always a sucker for that 😍), the burning of the candle AND the Dixxon - I was like, noooo, but that quickly turned to yessss with excitement, your dancing 🕺 and Avril fulled that! Just as Ray had mentioned in the live chat your channel has saved so many of us from dark places. It’s not necessarily what you just say or the things you do but your outlook on life. The way you always try to look at the positives in a negative world. The way you do the right thing even when no one is looking. The way you put your little girl first and sacrifice for her. You are awesome and my mother and I both love you. Not in a weird stalker or homo way (everyone calm down and keep your pants on 😆) but we really do care for ya. I feel like I know you and have known you for years. I watch each and every video or patreon clip or Facebook post extremely close just out of interest. Also viewing life differently! For example it’s okay to live differently than what society thinks you’re suppose to do! Hey Matt, I just heard you say you had 6 cats. I have 7. I also just got me a motor home that is old. but nice. I am planning trips with all of them LOL. I am 62, My husband Just passed in March. I wanted to camp when he was with me. He was not liking the idea of it. So, I am going to the be the crazy cat lady goes camping. I will try to do a KZbin video of it. Glad to know you had a bunch of cats. It just kind of happens. right? My husband and I were married for 37 years. It is worth it. It also is hard when they are gone. I can't hardly remember a time when he was not there. I pray that you find that one that has staying power. It is hard to find these days. I also didn't take my husband's name. We married with a pass for both of us. My kids were not his kids. I kept my name for them. among other reasons. Years ago, it was easy to take his name as a woman. Your life was simpler. women now work a job and have careers. And it is messy to change your name. I changed mine with my first husband and swore I would never do it again. I was only married for 7.5 years to him. I spent 37 years with my 2nd. I hope that Brooke has your last name and I hope she decides to keep it. But I hope she doesn't miss a catch like you would have been to her mom.

Just got Home 2 days ago from my wonderful six weeks trip, which included Three weeks driving through your part of canada. Wish we'd had a chance to connect up but you're about as busy as I was. I've got an astrovan conversion And though I do have sticks and Brick I love taking off and just being out in the world and nature. I don't care much about towns and stuff.I like driving through and seeing how cute they are, But I love just being camped in a beautiful spot with a beautiful view, opening my doors and enjoying the view. It was a glorious journey. You live in an absolutely beautiful place. Started up from spokane to Banff, then up to jasper, And then over and down and over and down and over the hills we go to Whistler, down to Vancouver and down l-5, And home to Portland. I watch every one of your adventures and your patreon, And they've all been a blessing indeed. Happy anniversary, Happy birthday and i'm glad you're still not going with the flow. Be blessed. Young man, And know that God's got your back, Cause he loves you more than crazy. It will be a joy to see what the next year holds, Oh happy day ❤

As I said earlier this evening in your live stream (my first time) I think I'm a fan. I did like the finale' for the most part. I will have disagree with your take on relationships but we are all different which is what makes life better. I've see a many of your vlogs over the last several weeks because I was healing from a serious injury. I was going to ask some personal questions in your live stream but decided to wait until after watching this evening's vlog. You've said a time or two that you strive to be transparent. Still I didn't want to disrupt the live stream with my questions. I think you answered them this evening without even going there. I could be wrong about that. They were about the person named Amber. I think I was able to deduce the answers by her absence recently. Maybe the Amber story is still too fresh or maybe you'll tell it soon. Tonight's vlog was well done.
