See, these "true story" videos are absolutely ridiculous. Like... Most of the time, the titles don't even match up with the video. Basically; KZbin back in 2016 changed so where videos were monetized based on video length, not view count. This killed off traditional animation, but left a really odd style of animation to fill in the void and we're here today with people like the Odd1sout and JaidenAnimations. To simplify; Money.

Honestly, same here. Sometimes, the storytime animation videos that come around do make sense in the context. However, they're also times where they don't make as much sense due to the similarity of each story or it's just hard to follow the story all together. *But OH BOY the animation that some storytime channels put through this, it's on some beyond cursed level I've ever seen anyone animate something from.*

1:12 This is actually a real thing. The medical term is Prosopagnosia, and it really does cause people to lose their ability to recognize the faces of loved one. Damage to the fusiform gyrus blocks the feeling you would normally get when looking at a loved one’s face, which would lead you to believe that they aren’t actually your family, but (for lack of a better word), imposters. Do I believe the video is real? Not really, but the disorder is very much real.

Loved the video Vannamelon! I can safely say that you're not the only one who's confused about these "True Story Animations" that are on KZbin. SSSniperwolf and oompaville also do these little reaction videos usually once a month or so on their channels, so if you want to react to other Content creators doing this that's a pretty good place to start.

The channels that make these videos don't care about the hate that the haters would think and judge. People do like some of the videos because the ones that are actually well animated or sound real that has a great story twist or ending... people watch the videos just to void complete boredom or its just made for young audiences, Ect.
