Vanquish H10 Optic Brass Knuckle Upgrade -Before & After

I put the same knuckles on my h10 this week and definitely was impressed at the weight in hand. Good place to put it too. To fix the toe I just quickly made up steering links with 8/32 allthread, traxxas revo rod ends, and brake line over them. I also have my wheelbase at 11.88inches to gain some belly clearance/break over angle and have trimmed and buttoned up the rear of my cage. Good lil trucks after some work and parts.

great review! knuckle weights totally transformed my crawler. the cost to performance ratio is really high. i recommend them to everyone before you start upgrading wheels and tires.

Hey just installed my knuckles today. You can drill new holes in steering arm to correct the toe 🤘🏻

I'd really like to shorten my wheelbase to close to 12". I think it would help counter the low skid and even look a little better.

From experience Vanquish compound does better wet anyhow. How big of a hex did u use? I mounted my first set of proline swampers in G8 compound on my optic… totally exceeded expectations. I have em wrapped around a set of Vision “heavy” CNCd Trail Readys with squid inserts. So good that I haven’t installed the 2.2 cut n shuts yet that I’ve had mounted already for weeks. Betcha a Reefs brass 1100 will get ya to that 60/40. Or some brass clamp rings. And I love how mine crawls. Like ya took the fordyce and stuffed it in a buggy. And the buggy is a hard body, the plastics gonna be different 😂! Hate to say that it just may be your driving bro…not the right,… just sayin. Great video til u started knocking a rig that you seem to know very lil about. But it’s all good. You deserve an opinion just like the next guy/gal.

I went out Sunday Morning in about the same conditions and none of my good comp trucks would go up anything! Between the wet and all the sand it was awful!
