Nice built video, I’m always really enjoying your content 😊…can’t wait for our first VRD build, delivery’s announced for Thursday 🤩
@bouncingnoise11 ай бұрын
Just stopped building my VRD, because the 1800kv Fusion (not SE) I planned to install doesn’t fit, it’s about 3mm too long😖 I’ll have to watch your stubby conversion video again, no idea what to buy now, yet. Only thing I know is that it can’t be one of these screaming escs, it has to be quiet😅

These build videos help me relax while I'm working on my own projects. That thing is going to be a rock beast! I just 3d printed an extended swingarm for my promoto Mx that has a built in Jack Shaft so that I can run a full size 2.2 Proline Badland tire in the swingarm. The Jack shaft is 1 to 1 ratio. It's just to bring the sprocket out far enough to clear the the 2 5/8" wide Proline badlands. Should be nuts! I figured I don't have to gear down as the badland tire is not as tall it's just twice as wide. Stock tire is only 1 5/8" wide. a whole 1 inch wider rear. Hopefully testing works out good. i want to climb some steep hills like my full size KTM extended swingarm dirtbike. I just copied it jack shaft and everything. If it works out are you interested in trying it?

Nice build but I wish they would use an aluminum shock top, on my phoenix all 4 leak out of the bleed hole.

great video to see this being put together. Good tips, good video angles. If you know more about how to fix things like slop, any pros and cons, things to watch out for (like for noobs whom typically make silly mistakes). Thank you!

@vintagerc9173 Жыл бұрын
Nice build I really like the way you made it look simple and straight forward 👍 The Hobbywing 555 brushed motor will fit also with no cutting or grinding required. It’s 58.5mm in length and cost only $21.99 at AMAIN

Super Video und sehr ausführlich erklärt! Ist schon auf meiner Wunschliste😂. Die Materialien von Vanquish sind schon TOP. Eine Frage: kann der Overdrive geändert werden oder ist der immer bei 37% ?
@ExocagedRC Жыл бұрын
It’s always 37%. Not selectable like the Pro is

With this, the SCX10 Pro and the Ascent I see a lot less full custom build rigs in 2024. Heck going the route of the Vanquish or SCX10 pro you are looking at a full build less radio under $700 but going the old way it was easily a $1000 money pit

Hey joe,can you check to see if injora rims fit that? I can't afford vanquish wheels the same time I grab my kitvand fusion pro so i need to temporarily use wheels I have. Tyia bud.
@ExocagedRCАй бұрын
yeah I've run several cheap wheels without much issue, on a few I did have to shave the top of the portal covers but that worked out fine.
@timmedeiros154110 ай бұрын
Did you have any trouble with the large wheel nuts I have the same set of wheels but could not tighten the wheel nuts up enough I used 3 different nut drives is there something I am missing never had a problem like this.
@johngisbourne71976 ай бұрын
grind the nutdriver down or buy a vanquish nutdriver.

When installing the drive shafts do I leave a little sloppiness or add shims until it seem tight with no movement/ no slop?
@ExocagedRC8 ай бұрын
if you need shims between the driveshaft and input bearing at axle, use just enough to reduce the slop to nearly 0 no need to have it tight
