Thank you for the review Mike! I have a question. If the camera is connected and works 24h, for example if your car is outside the house parked on the street or somewhere, and you are in a house or apartment or a place pretty far away from the car like one street away, the app works remotely? For example you can see with the app live from the car even if you are not near or connected to the wi-fi? Or the app works only if you are near the camera and connected to the cameras wi-fi to have the videos and transfer them easily on the phones storage and to see a live preview? Thank you!

Thanks for asking. The phone app needs to be connected to the wifi coming from the camera itself. It's a very short range transmission. I've found that you need to be inside the car for it to work best.

Thanks so much for your video. I have a question ...what are your comments about the overheating of the front camera, I mean not only temperature cause for the camera itself but for the sun light . Regards from Mexico City and thanks in advance

The sunlight is part of it but the camera does run hot. It doesn’t impair its operation though. The E3 is my daily usage camera

Is it possible to somehow pair this camera with a suction cup mount. In other words is there a suction mount that has a panel at the other end that one can stick this camera to. I would like to purchase and use this camera (or the N5) on a rented vehicle and remove it on return of the vehicle.

I see Vantrue does sell Suction Cup GPS mount for the N5 and another for E2.

It would definitely be an add on and not something that comes with it. You should look at the Rove 4K 2r

Is the E3 better than the N4? Which one would you recommend?

I prefer the E3 personally. It had a smaller profile and similar features. The N5 is great too but the barrel is just too big for my tastes.

@@MikeDancy thanks for the reply. Both the E3 and N4 are on a good sale for prime day. So I wasn’t sure which to get. Seems like the N4 has 4K recording capability but the E3 does now. However, looks like the E3 may have some more features than the N4 as far as connectivity and GPS
